Today Lorenc Plaku is 13 years old and has begun to see hope again due to the help of Albanian Children Foundation. Lorenc is just one of many cases of children who are treated by the Foundation led by Mrs. Liri Berisha. His diagnosis: Loss of the right eye and lower sight of the left eye.
After the surgery the left eyesight has improved about 55 percent.
Today Lorenc manages to write some words, as greatest gratitude for the foundation that made possible his eyesight is back.

 One year and a half ago, he couldn’t see the plate of soup that his mother gave him to eat.
An accidental blow with a strong tool from his friend, while playing in the backyard, took his eyesight. This is a strong pain not only for Lorenc Plaku, now 13 years old, but for the whole family which is experiencing the gradual loss of his eyesight.

This is a very urgent case.
